Charlotte, if you're reading this, you'll probably win the bet. At the last weigh-in, Tomokee came in at a whopping 64 lbs! A lot of this is muscle mass from all that wind sprinting he does out the back door when playing ball, but weight is still weight, even if it's not due to fat. Here's the summary of his weight progression:
June 2006 -- 48 lbs.
August 2006 -- 52
October 2006 -- 55
December 2006 -- 55.4
January 2007 -- 55.7
February 2007 -- 59.5
May 2007 -- 61.5
August 2007 -- 64 lbs!

Tomokee is two pounds shy of Beauty the wonder dog. How much larger does the vet expect him to get?
Well, our own vet thought he was not going to be much "bigger" than his original 48 lbs in terms of frame size, and that has been true. He's gained a lot of muscle mass. The Palo Alto animal services thought he might hit 65 lbs max, and our friend Charlotte (also a vet) said he could hit 85 lbs, but that's not going to happen. So, we thought 65 lbs. was a good weight for the vet.
